Hotel 5x07 Flicker: "She became immortal because of them"

Before I start writing the review about ”Flicker”, I leave you here the links to rewatch the episode.
ENG: http://gagadaily.com/story/news/ahs-hotel-s05e07-flicker/
SUB ITA: Not still available. As soon as possible I will post here the link

So, the seventh episode “Flicker” was a sort of a long flashback and the main character this time was our Countess, who, sometimes, shows her feelings. Moreover, we discover many other secrets of the Hotel Cortez, but there was something that I didn’t like so much …

The episode starts with the new owner Will Drake, who will marry soon the Countess. But before it, he decides to restructure the whole hotel. Works seem to proceed well, since when two bricklayers find a wall made of reinforced concrete. Mr. Drake orders to overthrow it, and when they do it, the two workers are killed by two … “zombies”? (I don’t still know how to define the characters of this season). The Countess, for the very first, time seems nervous when she sees the secret hiding place, in fact Iris notices it too and she says to her: “I’ve never seen you scared before”.

And now, the very long flashback, I was telling you before, starts when the Countess was only Elizabeth, a young girl with Italian origins who had the dream to be an actress. One day, in a movie set, she met the actor Rodolfo Valentino. The most magnificent thing about this character is that we know now why Elizabeth had said to Tristan <<Bellissimo>>. It is because he reminded her of Valentino, her former lover. But the most awful thing is that he is interpreted always by Finn. I can’t get why an actor must be two different characters in the same season. Anyway, Rodolfo wasn’t alone, but he was with his wife Natacha when he met Elizabeth. She became immortal because of them.

We also discover that Mr March’s wife is always the Countess. OMG Elizabeth, how many lovers did you have? They got married because she wanted to die when she heard news that Rodolfo was death, and Mr. March saved her. Besides, she also appreciated the tortures he made to the guests of the hotel. After the long flashback, Mr. March reveals that he had imprisoned Rodolfo and Natacha inside the hotel. We understand that the relationship between Elizabeth and the terrifying former owner has changed.

At the end of the episode we meet again our psychopathic old friend John, who decides, in fact, to live in a hospital for mentally ill people. But his reason is another, find the killer. When he opens the security door, he meets a cute and sweet girl: Wren. She says to him that she is responsible for many murders, but she is just an accomplice, the real killer lives inside the Hotel Cortez. As John get Wren out of the hospital, she decides to suicide crashing herself against a camion. But honestly I think she didn’t die. We will see in the next episode.

Scene I liked most: Elizabeth is angry with Mr. March
I loved when she was invited to eat dinner with her ex-husband, and I adored her close ups. I exulted when she yelled at him. He has to pay for everything he has done.

Scene I liked less: Rodolfo and Natacha
They were very good actually and scaring at the same time, but I don’t agree with the idea that Finn must interpret another person. He is dead. STOP! It makes confuse the people who watch the season.

Mark: 7
I must admit that this episode was more than great, but I was very disappointed by the choice of Ryan. I don’t really like the idea that an actor must interpret two different characters. I loved the long flashback dedicated to the Countess who showed feelings for the first time. I am very impress by Lady Gaga. She is a great actress. Othe negative points? YES! Why there wasn’t Sally? Donavon and Ramona?

Now I leave the promo of the next episode "The Ten Commandments Killer".
ATTENTION! This week there is no AHS, the eighth episode is for the 2nd December.

What do you think about the Finn's new character? Do you agree with me or do you appreciate this choice? Leave a comment below.

Hotel 5x06 Room 33:"Is he a demon?"

Before I start, I leave you below the links to watch "Room 33"
ENG: http://gagadaily.com/story/news/ahs-hotel-room-33-s05e06/

Hello everybody! I’m here to talk about the sixth episode ”Room 33”. I can’t believe we are already in the half way to the end of this season. I liked very much this episode, and let see why.

First of all, I loved so much this episode because it opened with a throwback: Murder House!!! I cried of happiness when I saw that lovely house we were used to live in. Here there’s a flashback with our Countess. She is pregnant, and if you remember in the first season there was a doctor who made abortions, but secretly. The doctor takes her baby, but it seems there’s something wrong with it, in fact that he even kills the nurse. Now there are a lot of questions: who was her husband? And why did she decide to abort?

Let’s move on. There’s always our detective John, he is sleeping and again his son appears in front of him. John follows him till he found out that his son and his wife sleep together in a coffin. It is exactly what his daughter Scarlett had said! But Alex has an excellent idea: together with Liz Taylor, she hid all the coffins, so she makes believe him that he is just crazy, he has a psychological breakdown.

But who lives in room 33. There’s the Countess’ true love: her son! We don’t see him initially, we can only admire Elizabeth’s maternal side. But now she has to go to Paris with her gay future husband. And here we have our hairy head Ramona Royale that wants revenge from what Elizabeth had done to her. She tries to kill her baby, but it seems he is stronger than anybody else. Is he a demon?

Now let’s talk about love stories! In the last episode we discovered Liz Taylor’s touching story and how the Countess transformed him into a Goddess. But Cleopatra finally found love: it’s Tristan! When I first saw them I said “oh shit! You’re both in danger!”. But as Elizabeth said, Liz has more balls than her model, so she admits to the boss her crush. I adored the face the Countess made, it revealed that she would make them pay. So at the end, she gives Tristan to Liz, but dead.

The scene I liked most: Bartholomew

The first time I didn’t see his face very well, but I had seen something weird, so I went back a little bit and then I realized he was … a little cute monster? An alien? I don’t know what it is, but it is adorable!!!

The scene I liked less: Ramona and Donavon

I liked that they were finally back, but I want a love story between them. I want to see more Ramona, more Donavon. Why only a scene in the whole episode? I think Angela Basset is a great actress and she should be more present.

Mark: 8
As I said before, I like very much the episode, it was hilarious the coming back of Murder House, Elizabeth’s son, and also the two Swedish girls, I’ve never thought we could meet them again. I liked that finally there were all the characters, except one: Sally! WHY WHY WHY? Ryan, please don’t do it anymore, don’t do another episode without Sally.

Hotel 5x05 Room Service: "SOCIETY SUCKS. ALWAYS REMEMBER!"

To watch again the fifth episode here the links:
ENG: http://gagadaily.com/story/news/ahs-hotel-room-service-s05e05/
SUB ITA: http://vidzi.tv/w9l0zc8sz560.html

Hello again! It’s me, Phil who reviews American Horror Story. Today I am going to write about the fifth episode “Room Service”. There’s so much to talk about.

First of all, we meet again our Alex, who has been turned into a vampire by the Countess last time. Now she is at the hospital and his patient is in a very difficult situation. So, she finds the solution with a very unusual therapy: she puts her blood into the child’s drip. I hate this character (not the actress) more and more. What kind of doctor are you, Alex???

She doesn’t know that her choice is going to cause a tragedy in a school. In fact, the child, who had been cured by Alex, is also a vampire. He tries a kiss a mate and beat her, he kills the teacher, and he also invites his mates to suck blood. Did they become all vampires? I don’t know, but we are certain that Alex is the cause of an epidemic. I also believe that she will not make a good end.

In the third episode we’ve seen Iris dying, but then her son Donavon came to save her with his blood. What an heroic gesture. Well, we were wrong. The charming Donavon didn’t turn her mother because he love her, but just for his needs. In fact, he and the actress Ramona Royale want to use her as sentinel of the hotel. Donavon, you’re without heart!!! Shame! So the poor Iris feels like imprisoned in her age and at the same time invisible, so that even the Countess notices her change.

It is here when Cleopatra tells Iris how she (or he) became Liz Taylor. His real name is Nick, and he was married and had a son just for conviction. He had a job that made him travel a lot, and when he was alone on his room, he can finally be free to be what he wants: a woman! And here he met Elizabeth who shaves his head, put some make up on and give him some very “haute couture” clothes. His colleagues find out he is gay, he is bulled with words by them, but don’t worry honey, Elizabeth kill them immediately. We might think Liz is also turned like everybody else, but he admits to Iris that he didn’t get the transmutation. Is that true?

The scene I liked most: Touching conversation between Elizabeth and Nick
Well, I think this was the favorite part of everybody. So touching, so emotional, and this reflects the reality of many people who hide themselves because are scared of society. SOCIETY SUCKS! ALWAYS REMEMBER! Compliments to Denis O’ Hare that slayed this episode.

The scene I liked less: Sally in the bed with John

It’s not that I didn’t like this part, but I am very disappointed because Sarah Paulson is not so present in this season and we all know that she gave so much of her into AHS. I am not still convinced by the character she plays. I hope next time there’s a flashback of this mysterious personality.

Mark: 8 – I like this episode so so much! And you also know why. Denis O’ Hare was fantastic. So talented this man. Behind his haughty attitude, there was a very insecure person. His story broke me in tears.
About Iris, even though I expected she would have been a vampire, she showed also her talent as actress and I was also moved when she confessed to Liz how she felt. The only thing I didn’t like is that many main characters are not so present. Oh I was forgetting it, the carnage at the school was great and scaring!

And here the promo of the sixth episode "Room  33"

Hotel 5x04 Devil's Night:"I thought she was fun with her pissed hair"

Before I start writng the review of the fourth episode, I leave the link to watch or rewatch it.
ENG: http://gagadaily.com/story/news/ahs-hotel-devils-night-s05e04/
SUB ITA: http://vidto.me/ntlx81brtweu.html

So let’s start to talk about “Devil’s Night”. I must confess that I expected more about this episode. C’mon, it is dedicated to Halloween, it shoud have been so scaring, but I think it was a little bit boring and so no-sense. In the episode we can see Alex that bring with her Holden. But she understands he has something wrong. When Alex opens the curtains of the window he says that the sun makes feel him tired and when she touches him, he is very cold. I think her mother understood that Holden is dead, but alive? And when she goes to give him a fruit juice, he killed the poor dog … nooo! L But I think that I don’t get is, they are not like the typical vampire figure, they don’t have fangs, but how is it possible that this blond child sucks blood from the dog if he doesn’t even have a glove?

Shocked from what she had seen, she decides to go to visit Holden’s other mother: the Countess. Here Elizabeth makes one of her philosophical talks and says that she saved her son. She is not intentioned to give her back Holden, but she proposes her the immortality. Alex wants to kill her when all at once Tristan came and pushes her down. And Elizabeth said: “Let her go …”

Let’s see what this Devil’s Night is about. John, the detective that doesn’t understand that this hotel is not normal, goes to the shelter confessions, the bar. But this time there isn’t on his back Sally, but a new character: Alieen Wuornos, a prostitute serial killer who killed seven men. When I watched her the first time I thought she was funny with her pissed hair, but when I discovered that she really existed … I shitted my pants! That is so scaring that Ryan chose to put real killers into this unrealistic set.
But the most scaring thing of this episode is when John is invited to Mr. March dinner’s and there we find out the all the guests have existed FOR REAL!!! Shit! This dinner is held every year for the night of Halloween and it is a sort of meeting where Mr. March gives them advices for their murders. And of course all of them are dead.

But why did the founder of the Hotel Cortez decided to invite a stupid detective? Does he want he becomes one of them, or just to take fun of him? In fact, at the end Sally comes and she makes him believe that he was drunk and what he had seen was just an illusion.

The scene I liked most: All the Alieen’s parts
I really loved this coming-back of Lily Rabe. She is always outstanding how she interpreted the different roles thought the AHS seasons, and in this season she confirmed her talent. She was unrecognizable.

The scene I liked less: JOHN LOWE!
I am very sorry for this character, but I think he is becoming very boring in the season. He should be the main character, the one who discovers secrets in the Hotel, instead it is her daughter who discovered everything. Mr. and Mrs. Lowe, believe Scarlett at some points!

Mark: 7 –
I liked this episode only because there was Lily Rabe, and she saved and slayed it, otherwise they could through it away. There wasn’t any connection with the former episodes and then, where were all the other characters? Iris, Donavon, the amazing Ramona Royale? I wanted to see them. And what about Sally? We see her only few times in every season, I want to see more Paulson. I hope she will be more present in the upcoming episodes.

Hoping that the next episode, called "Room Service" will be more interesting, here the promo

Don't miss the new episode on Wednesday ;)

Hotel 5x03 Mommy:"Are you stupid Alex?"

Before I start writing the review, I leave the links to rewatch the episode.
- ENG: http://gagadaily.com/story/news/ahs-hotel-mommy-s05e03/

- SUB ITA: http://vidto.me/5uufnbh8o2vs.html

We watched the third episode ”Mommy” and … I think it was touching for the two maternal stories, but at the same time so hot! And you know what I am talking about if you watched it! This season started with a big boom, a positive one. I really like it and I hope there will be this continuity of surprise and fright.

Let’s start talking about the story mother-son relationship of Iris-Donavon. Now he is alone, Elizabeth left him and he doesn’t even know where to live, but her mother says him that she found an apartment for two people, just him and her. But here Donavon turns so angry against her, he tells that everything she did was wrong. I laughed so hard when he said that her mother gave him a vegetarian diet with many fibers and he used to shit his pants. AHAHAHAHAH. I can understand that maybe her mother was too much apprehensive, but I hated him when he said her: “You should kill yourself”. So he prefers to live on the street like a gypsy.
And here we meet a new incredible character: Ramona Royale.
And he caught Donavon. Why?
She was an actress, but she was an actress for nor relevant films. She met the Countess at the Hotel Cortez and there the spark broke. It was true love apparently and she turned her a vampire. I loved the lesbian sex scene. So erotic! And what about them through the years in the elevator? They were a perfect couple!

But Ramona felt in love with a man famous in the world music. They fell in love and this last was turned into a vampire too. Elizabeth couldn’t stand it and so she killed him shooting him in the head. Now Ramona wants revenge through Donavon, but he doesn’t have to deal anymore with the Countess.

I was almost forgetting it! The other maternal, touching story is the relationship between Alex and his son Holden. Here there is a flashback and we see that she loved Holden more than someone else on this planet, and so she fell into deep depression and once she also tried to kill herself. She goes to the Hotel to visit her husband (bad choice, once you enter, you’ll never get out!) … for what? She asks him the divorce … WHAT? WHY? Are you stupid Alex? Anyway, then when she is on her way to go out, she meets her son Holden. See? Your daughter Scarlett is not crazy!!!
The scene I liked most: Elizabeth and Ramona trough the years

I loved so hard this part! It was amazing to see Elizabeth with so many different looks. Yes! I have to admit. I am a huge Little Monster (Gaga’s fan), so I think everything she does, I love it.

The scene I liked less: Claudia in the bedroom

I didn’t like her so much in this episode, I think she is not relevant and that Naomi Campbell was not born to be an actress. She is so bad, honestly. I also believe that we won’t see her anymore. She’s already dead.

Mark: 8
Yes, I know I always give the same mark, but it is because since now I liked very much each episode, and none of them have been worst or better. In fact I hope to see more surprises in the upcoming episodes. There are still a lot of things to find out. The only thing I am getting bored a little bit is the story about vampirism-virus.

Last time I also asked you to vote what was your favourite episode among the first two, and 100% chose the second one. I absolutely agree, it was so fascinating and Mr. March was so scaring!

And our next appointment is next Wednesday with the fourth episode "Devil's Night"

Hotel 5x02 Chutes and Ladders: "WTF?!?"

Hello everyone! I am back writing reviews and before I start, I leave you here the links to watch or rewatch the second episode.
ENGLISH: http://gagadaily.com/story/news/ahs-hotel-chutes-and-ladders-s05e02/
With a very big delay I am here writing for you the review for the second episode of American Horror Story: Hotel and the first thing I would say is: WTF?!? There so many mysteries and intrigues in this new episode.

One of the main theme of this episode is our lover couple: the Countess and Donovan. She asks him to go to an art event, but he says that he prefers staying home and watching TV, just like a couch potato. But this is not what she wants. She wants adventure, sex and blood! So if last time we saw them making love, this time they discuss. We can see they are not a happy couple, they are both sad. I liked very much the part where Elizabeth goes down from the taxi with a cigarette on her hand and walks like a diva in a sort of runway and then she sees someone. Who is she looking at? We will find out in the other episodes.

Do you remember that in the first episode she put on sale her hotel to a stylist? Well, now we see Drake struggling as the new owner and he turns the Hotel into a magnificent fashion show. The most beautiful as always are the Countess and Donovan and they look so serious, they don’t make a smile and she even has tears on her face. So heartbreaking! But it is here that we meet a new character of this intriguing story: Tristan Duffy!
He is a model, and what a surprise, he is also addicted to drugs. He makes an unusual appearance and he manages to take the attention of the Countess. He even fights with her partner Donavon and he was there to kill him, when suddenly she stops him and says: “Let him go”. Ahhh I just love her!

But now we meet another new character, more scaring and fascinating. He is Mr. James March, the founder of this hotel and that we find out later that he was a sort of devil in a person. He also wanted to make Tristan commit a suicide.
Tristan runs away, but here again the Countess who saves him. And they even do sex in a bathtub. So she tells him her story. She was born in 1904 and she is still alive … what? And also Sally was dead, and still alive, and the same with Mr. March. Wait, are the characters all ghosts? Weird. Anyway she turns Tristan in a vampire as her and Donavon can’t believe it, he can’t believe that he was replaced by a model of four pennies, but she reminds him that he was a drug addict in the threshold of dying.
So, who will she choose? The sexy model, Donavon or both and do sex all together?

The scene I liked most: “The kids are just the best …”

ahahahah I loved so much Sally that scares Scarlett and her teeth are broken in thousand pieces. And I also want to thank the official page AHS of instagram that commented my pic :D

The scene I liked less: Sex in the bathtub
I didn’t like this part at all because I think it wasn’t necessary to put it. In the first episode was fine the foursome scene, but I just hope this season won’t be a porn.

Mark: 8
I loved this episode as the first one, even though this was more confusing and tricky. I loved Mr. March, he is so villain, he killed and kills everyone, he reminds me Hitler. Ew! The only part I didn’t like and found boring are when there is the detective in his working position. I liked Sally more this time, I take back what I said last time about her. My other favourite characters are Mr. March, the Countess and the fabulous Liz Taylor or Cleopatra.

What episode did you like most? I left a survey up of the page.

And to sum up here the promo of the third episode "Mommy". Wednesday, come now!!!
